On a Monday morning in Memphis, Tennessee, 36-year-old Raven Martin was driving her car, a simple act that tragically turned into her last. It was April 8, 2024, and she was doing a favor for a friend, having just picked him up from the courthouse. In the car with her were her two-year-old son and a male passenger, 27-year-old Antavius Gardner. As they drove near the intersection of Crump and Mississippi Boulevards, their vehicle was suddenly riddled with bullets.
