Ashley Dawn Cook, a 12-year-old girl from Warren, Ohio, tragically lost her life on October 11, 1999. On that fateful night, Stanley T. Adams entered the home of Esther Cook and her daughter, Ashley. Once inside, Adams brutally murdered Esther by beating and stabbing her. He then turned his attention to Ashley, whom he beat, raped, and strangled. The heinous nature of the crime shocked the community and led to a thorough investigation and subsequent legal proceedings.
