Alma Gertrude Haggard, a 12-year-old girl of Caucasian ethnicity from Vernon, Texas, tragically died on December 25, 1929. Her death was part of a devastating incident that also claimed the lives of her father, J.H. Haggard, and her four siblings. The family was found shot to death in their home on December 29, 1929.
