Arthur James Robertson, a 59-year-old male of unspecified ethnicity, was a Deputy Sheriff with the Ellis County Sheriff's Department in Texas. On February 15, 1971, he was tragically killed in what became known as the "Trinity River Massacre". Deputy Robertson, along with Deputy William Reese and Deputy Samuel Infante, was abducted by two men while conducting a burglary investigation.
