In the early morning hours of September 11, 2008, a witness driving to work in Kansas City, Missouri, noticed a Yellow Cab idling in the middle of the street and reported it to the authorities. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered the cab driver, 44-year-old Terence Timmons, inside the vehicle. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
