Sergeant Bruno David Soboleski, aged 33, was a dedicated officer of the Houston Police Department. On April 7, 1991, during a narcotics investigation, he was shot twice in the chest and once in the abdomen by Shelton D. Jones, one of the suspects. Despite immediate medical attention and multiple surgeries, Sergeant Soboleski succumbed to his injuries on April 12, 1991.
