On October 16, 1991, Sylvia Mathilde King, a 30-year-old Caucasian woman, was among the 23 individuals tragically killed during the Luby's Cafeteria massacre in Killeen, Texas. Born on June 30, 1961, in Bad Cannstatt, Germany, Sylvia had made Killeen her home. On that fateful day, she was present at the popular lunchtime spot when the unthinkable occurred.
