Ruth Pujol, a 55-year-old woman from Killeen, Texas, tragically lost her life on October 16, 1991. She was one of the victims of the horrific Luby's Cafeteria massacre, a mass shooting that remains one of the deadliest in U.S. history. Ruth Pujol was among the 23 people who were killed when George Hennard, the perpetrator, drove his pickup truck through the front window of the cafeteria and opened fire on the patrons and staff inside.
