Erica Denise Townsend-Whitfield, a 22-year-old woman of African American ethnicity from Killeen, Texas, tragically lost her life on July 3, 2016. She was an employee at a Dollar General store on Watercrest Road in Killeen. The incident was determined to be a murder-suicide. Erica's estranged husband, 23-year-old Angelo Myshun Townsend-Whitfield, who was an active duty Marine stationed in California, committed the act.
