Murdered

Anthony Monroe, a 17-year-old from Kansas City, Missouri, was fatally shot on March 15, 2009. Monroe was found with a gunshot wound to the head and was immediately taken to Truman Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead on March 16. The tragic incident took place in a neighborhood that had experienced frequent acts of violence during that time.
