On the morning of January 6, 2008, police officers in Kansas City, Missouri, were dispatched to a residence located at 2716 Grove regarding a reported disturbance. Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds inside the home. One of the victims, identified as 35-year-old Eric L.
