Specialist Jason Dean Hunt, a 22-year-old male soldier of Caucasian ethnicity, tragically lost his life on November 5, 2009, at Fort Hood, Texas. Hunt, who was born on August 25, 1987, in Moore, Oklahoma, joined the United States Army in 2006 and had served in Iraq for 15 months. He re-enlisted for six more years while still in Iraq and was awaiting deployment at Fort Hood when the incident occurred.
