Timothy Xie Sun, a 9-year-old boy of Asian descent, tragically lost his life on February 3, 2014, in Cypress, Texas. Timothy, along with his parents, Maoye Sun and Mei Xie, and his younger brother, Titus Sun, aged 7, were found shot to death in their home on January 30, 2014. The family was discovered in separate rooms, each having been shot in the head. The killings were executed-style, leaving the community in shock and mourning.
