On January 19, 2016, 4-year-old Bryson Hernandez, a young boy from Cypress, Texas, was visiting his grandparents' home in northwest Harris County. During the visit, Bryson discovered his grandfather's firearm. While handling the gun, it accidentally discharged, resulting in a gunshot wound to his head.
