Maoye Sun, a 50-year-old man of Chinese ethnicity, was tragically killed along with his wife Mei Xie, 49, and their two sons, 9-year-old Timothy and 7-year-old Titus, in their Cypress, TX home on January 24, 2014. The family was found shot to death in their home on January 30, 2014. The case remained unsolved for nearly nine years until Feng Lu, a 58-year-old coworker of Maoye Sun, was arrested in California on September 11, 2022, and charged with capital murder.
