On February 21, 2014, at approximately 5:55 a.m., Houston police responded to a shooting incident at 4606 Phlox. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of Jose A. Gomez, a 36-year-old male resident of Hispanic descent, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Initial reports indicated that there were no known suspects or motives associated with the shooting at that time.
