Carlos Alberto Lazaney-Rodriguez, a 38-year-old male of Puerto Rican descent, tragically lost his life on April 2, 2014, at Fort Hood, Texas. He was one of the victims of a shooting incident that occurred on the military base. Lazaney-Rodriguez, who had served in the United States Army for 19 years, was a Staff Sergeant assigned to the 21st Combat Support Hospital, 1st Medical Brigade.
