Luis Medrano, a 38-year-old Hispanic man, tragically lost his life on June 1, 2014, in Houston, Texas. Medrano was dining with his wife and daughters at Taqueria Cancun in southwest Houston when an argument broke out with another man. The situation escalated, and despite being escorted out by security, the confrontation continued in the parking lot. The suspect retrieved a gun from his car and shot Medrano, who succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
