Cynthia Lightsey, a 63-year-old woman from Houston, Texas, tragically lost her life on April 17, 2015. The circumstances surrounding her death were particularly shocking as her son, Joseph Lightsey, aged 37 at the time, was arrested and charged with her murder. According to police reports, Joseph Lightsey walked into a medical center and confessed to shooting his mother. He was subsequently taken into custody and held on a murder charge with bail set at $100,000.
