Gerrardo De Los Santos, a 23-year-old Hispanic male, was fatally shot on November 23, 2015, in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred around 8:45 p.m. as De Los Santos was walking back to his apartment at 5959 Bissonnet. He was approached by Arnold Castillo, a 21-year-old Hispanic male, who attempted to start a fight. During the altercation, Castillo pulled out a gun and fired at De Los Santos, striking him. De Los Santos was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
