James Ayala, a 25-year-old Army veteran, was tragically killed in a murder-suicide in Katy, Texas, on February 21, 2016. Ayala, who was of Hispanic descent, was fatally shot around midnight at a home on Katy Briar Lane, near Morton Road and Madison Road.
