On June 8, 2024, 20-year-old Jyron Johnson was fatally shot in a west Harris County neighborhood near Katy, Texas. The incident occurred shortly before 1 p.m. in a grassy alleyway off Silverhawk Drive, close to Clay and Greenhouse roads, just blocks from Johnson's residence.

Authorities believe Johnson was meeting the suspect for a transaction arranged online, possibly through a platform like Facebook Marketplace. They clarified that the meeting did not involve drugs. During the encoun ...
