Darius Phillips, a 42-year-old man, was shot and killed in Katy, Texas, during the early hours of June 14, 2026, after a party turned violent in west Harris County. Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff's Office were called to the area of Dutton Point around midnight after reports came in of a fight and gunfire. When they arrived, Phillips was already dead from gunshot wounds.
