Brad Michael Wilder, a 43-year-old attorney and long-time resident of Houston, Texas, was tragically shot and killed on July 8, 2016. The incident occurred at around 11:45 p.m. in the parking lot of an apartment complex at 2501 Lazy Hollow. Mr. Wilder was found deceased with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The Houston Police Department's Homicide Division, along with Officer T. Ferguson and Sergeant C. Hassig, responded to the scene. An autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences was conducted to determine the cause of death.
At the time of the investigation, there were no known witnesses or suspects. The police urged anyone with information to come forward and contact the HPD Homicide Division or Crime Stoppers. Despite the efforts, the case remains unsolved, and no arrests have been made in connection with Brad Michael Wilder's death.
Brad Michael Wilder was remembered fondly by his family and friends as a devoted father, friend, and a person with a great sense of humor. He is survived by his four children, Braden, Madelyn, Marlee, and Megan, as well as his brothers, Bryan and Brett Wilder, and his father, Weyland Wilder. His mother, Janet Marie Wilder, preceded him in death.
