On September 30, 2016, in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas, Texas, 44-year-old Latino male Julio Camacho was fatally shot alongside 25-year-old Latino male Hector Vela. A third Latino male sustained injuries in the same incident and was transported to Methodist Medical Center, where he was expected to survive. The shooting occurred in the 700 block of North Lancaster Avenue. Dallas police responded to the scene but did not disclose the circumstances leading to the shooting. As of October 1, ...
