On February 10, 2024, at approximately 7:15 p.m., 17-year-old Marcos Villanueva was fatally shot while working at a Church's Chicken restaurant located in the 4600 block of Scyene Road in Dallas, Texas. According to witnesses, a man entered the establishment, specifically asked for Villanueva by name, and upon his approach to the front counter, the assailant drew a handgun and shot him multiple times.
