On February 9, 2017, Jose Alfredo "Freddy" Zuniga, a 30-year-old Hispanic male from Edinburg, Texas, was fatally shot. Born on January 16, 1987, in Donna, Texas, he was the son of the late Jose Abel Sr. Zuniga and Lupe Ramos. He is survived by his daughter, Katelyn Marie Zuniga, his brother, Jose Abel Zuniga Jr., and his sister, Amanda Marie Zamora. His death was reported on February 10, 2017, in Donna, Texas.
