Death by Force

Rickey Scott, a 19-year-old African American male, was a freshman at Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN. On October 13, 2019, Scott was found unresponsive in the hallway of Watson Hall, a dormitory on campus. He was later pronounced dead at Skyline Medical Center from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The Metro Nashville Police Department classified the shooting as a homicide.
