Samuel Huff, a 67-year-old man from Nashville, Tennessee, was tragically shot and killed on September 4, 2016. He was found lying in the street with a gunshot wound and later died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The incident occurred in the 1500 block of 9th Avenue North in Nashville.
Following the murder, Nashville Metro Police launched an investigation to identify the suspect responsible for Huff's death. On April 1, 2017, they arrested 22-year-old Javaris Wilson for the crime.
