William Petty, a 58-year-old security guard, was tragically killed on February 26, 2017, during a robbery at a Subway restaurant in Killeen, Texas. Petty, who was on duty at the time, confronted a masked suspect who entered the restaurant. During the altercation, the suspect shot Petty, who was then transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in critical condition.
