On October 24, 2020, Malcolm Jamal Laborn, a 26-year-old African American male from Killeen, Texas, was tragically found dead in his home on Blair Street. He was one of three victims discovered at the scene, alongside Rodell Emmanuel Wallace, 29, and Robin Renee Moses, 30. The Killeen Police Department determined that all three individuals had died from gunshot wounds.
The incident was quickly classified as a triple homicide, prompting an immediate investigation.
The police were alerted to the situation when a witness, who had come to check on the welfare of one of the residents, saw a person lying on the floor through a window. Upon entering the residence, officers found the three bodies and pronounced them dead at the scene. An autopsy was ordered to determine the exact cause of death. The investigation revealed that Malcolm had been trying to distance himself from negative influences and wrong crowds, but unfortunately, it was too late.
As of now, there have been no arrests or suspects named in connection with the murders. The Killeen Police Department has urged anyone with information to come forward and contact the Bell County Crime Stoppers. The case remains open, and the authorities continue to seek justice for Malcolm and the other victims.
