Harry Louis Polite III, a 31-year-old African American male, was found deceased on January 16, 2017, in Killeen, Texas. Officers arrived at the scene in the 3200 block of Brownsville Drive to find Polite lying in the roadway. Justice of the Peace Claudia Brown pronounced him dead at the scene and ordered an autopsy to be performed at the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences in Dallas.
