John Raymond Romero Jr., a 29-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically lost his life on October 16, 1991, in Killeen, Texas. He was one of the 24 innocent bystanders killed in the Luby's Cafeteria shooting, a mass shooting carried out by George Hennard. Hennard, an unemployed former merchant seaman, drove his pickup truck through the front window of the cafeteria before opening fire on the patrons and staff.
