On September 19, 2024, at approximately 1:04 p.m., Killeen Police Department officers responded to a report of a gunshot victim in the 2200 block of Botanical Drive. Upon arrival, they found 18-year-old Octavion Keshun Tucker suffering from a gunshot wound. He was airlifted to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, Tucker was pronounced deceased at 3:03 p.m. by Justice of the Peace Larry Wilkey, marking the sixteenth murder in Killeen for the year 202
