Dareon Merchant, a 26-year-old male of unspecified ethnicity, tragically lost his life on May 13, 2017, in Dallas, TX. He was an innocent bystander caught in crossfire during an altercation that erupted in gunfire. Merchant was sitting in his car in the 3200 block of Elsie Faye Heggins Street near Malcolm X Boulevard when he was fatally shot.
