That Le, a 75-year-old Vietnamese man, tragically died on January 20, 2018, in Houston, Texas. He was shot multiple times in the parking lot of a southeast Houston H-E-B grocery store. That Le was leaving his car when he was approached by one of two suspects, leading to a brief altercation before he was fatally shot. Paramedics transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
