On February 2, 2018, 14-year-old Angel Gabara was tragically killed in a shooting incident in San Antonio, Texas. Gabara, a young boy of Hispanic ethnicity, was at home with his mother when gunfire erupted in their West Side neighborhood. A stray bullet pierced a window and struck him in the head, causing critical injuries. Despite being rushed to University Hospital, his chances of survival were slim, and he was pronounced dead about a day and a half later.
