On March 2, 2018, Leon Bowman, a 31-year-old male from Marshall, Texas, was tragically killed in a double homicide. Bowman and another victim, Justin Williams, aged 30, were found dead inside a duplex on the 1500 block of E. Fannin Street. The Marshall Police Department responded to a welfare check and discovered their bodies.
The investigation led authorities to believe that Jesus Molina Delatorre, a 46-year-old man and the sole tenant of the residence, was responsible for the
killings. Delatorre allegedly fled the scene after committing the murders. A warrant was issued for his arrest on charges of capital murder.
Additionally, Thomas Andrew Craig, an 18-year-old, was arrested in connection with the case for allegedly hiding the firearm used in the murders. Craig was charged with tampering with evidence and later cooperated with authorities, revealing the location of the weapon.
The case remains under investigation, with local and federal authorities actively seeking Delatorre. The Marshall Police Department and Marshall/Harrison County Crime Stoppers have urged anyone with information on Delatorre's whereabouts to come forward.
