Chalyn Dwight Stewart, a 25-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on July 28, 2018, in Houston, Texas. Stewart was employed at a car wash where he had an ongoing dispute with his manager, Logan Sheffield. The conflict escalated when Sheffield, after an argument at Stewart's apartment complex, left to retrieve a handgun and returned to the scene. He then fatally shot Stewart in the parking lot of the apartment complex.
