Death by Force

Sergeant Sean Sebastian Rios, aged 47, was a dedicated officer with the Houston Police Department, having served for 25 years. On November 9, 2020, while en route to start his shift at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, he encountered two vehicles and an armed man on the roadway. This led to a shootout in the 7700 block of the North Freeway, where Sergeant Rios was fatally wounded. Despite making it to the nearby Taj Inn & Suites, he succumbed to his injuries.
