Edgar Tapia, a 21-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically lost his life on November 1, 2014, in Houston, Texas. He was fatally shot while walking back to his apartment with his wife and children after visiting family members. As they walked through the apartment complex, they were confronted by a black male who displayed a gun.
