Ashley D. Garren, a 21-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, was tragically killed on May 23, 2013. Officers were dispatched to the location following reports of gunshots heard in the vicinity. Upon arrival, they found Ashley suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and lying in the roadway. Despite the emergency response, she succumbed to her injuries shortly afterward.
