An African-American man, Kyle McCroy, was 30 years old when his life was tragically cut short in Omaha, Nebraska. On the evening of Wednesday, March 28, 2012, violence erupted near the intersection of Florence Boulevard and Himebaugh Avenue. Gunshots shattered the night, and when the chaos subsided, McCroy had been fatally wounded. He succumbed to his injuries the following day, on March 29, 2012.
