On January 14, 2019, Ryan Christopher Smart, a 26-year-old male from Garland, Texas, tragically lost his life. The incident occurred at a home in the 200 block of East Taylor Drive. According to police reports, Ryan was involved in a heated dispute with his younger brother, 18-year-old Brendan Demarcus Edwards.
