Teresa Trinidad Guerra Sanchez, an 82-year-old retired biology teacher and grandmother, was fatally shot on August 3, 2019, in El Paso, Texas. She was known affectionately as "Tia" to her family and was remembered as a kind, intelligent, and gentle person who was also very strong.
