On June 27, 2023, at approximately 6 a.m., El Paso police responded to a call on the 5600 block of Prince Edward Avenue in Northeast El Paso, where they discovered 40-year-old Daniela Courtney Woodworth with severe injuries. She was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment. Despite medical efforts, Woodworth succumbed to her injuries on July 24, 2023.
Woodworth's family revealed that she had been in an on-again, off-again relationship, which they described as abusive.
