On March 5, 2014, a violent incident unfolded in the Northeast area of Kansas City, Missouri, resulting in the death of 32-year-old David E. Krantz. Officers from the Kansas City Police Department were dispatched to the vicinity of Norledge and White Avenues around 10:30 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim who had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. Krantz was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
