In the late hours of a Monday evening in Kansas City, Missouri, a gathering inside a home on Arlington Avenue took a tragic turn. On December 29, 2025, an argument escalated, resulting in gunfire that left 57-year-old Darian L. Barnes dead and two others, a man and a woman, in critical but stable condition.
