In the early evening of January 12, 2015, Ronzell M. Wright Sr., a 41-year-old man, was killed in a drive-by shooting at an apartment complex in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. in the 1500 block of Bushman Drive, near 63rd Street and The Paseo.
Wright and another man were in separate apartments when they were struck by gunfire. Witnesses reported seeing at least two individuals shooting at each other in the parking lot of the complex. Both victims were transported to local hospitals for their injuries, but Wright was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.
