Kameron Karltess Brown, a 30-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 31, 2019, in Odessa, Texas. He was one of seven victims of the Odessa mass shooting, which occurred in front of Ratliff Stadium. Kameron was on his way to work when a single bullet came through the window of his truck, fatally striking him. He was a U.S. Army veteran who had served in Afghanistan and was remembered by his family as a joyful person who loved to make others smile.
